Pierre Robert Christophe. Mare and foal. Bronze

A stunning 1920's bronze sculpture (cire perdue / lost wax) by famous french sculpture Pierre Robert CHRISTOPHE.

Mare and Foal.

Dark patinated bronze. Marble base. Excellent condition and patina. Few chips on the marble base we can have professionally restaured on request. (Sometimes for such collector bronzes, people prefer to get the sculpture unrestaured, reason why we propose both solutions).

Total dimensions : 25cm width. 22cm high.
Indubitably in the mainstream of Rembrandt Bugatti work. Excellent investment for a period bronze by a listed sculptor.
