Very hard to find strong art deco style large ceramic. Definitely inspired by Ballets  Russe and Diaghilev dancer. 
Signed A. Gauvenet.
Excellent condition. 38cm high. Circa 1930.

Alain Gauvenet (1885-1967)
After his training at the Ecoles des Beaux Arts in Dijon and Paris, he came to the National Manufactory of Sèvres in May 1908. He was a sculptor there from 1912 to 1925, and an artist and sculptor from 1925 to 1943. He retired in December 1947. He created several forms, especially vases.
