Ary Bitter (1883–1973) was a French artist, best known for his animal sculptures. He was a designer, painter, and sculptor in various mediums including plaster, stone, terracotta and bronze. Ary Bitter gets excellent auction results for his animal sculptures. Often more than 10000eur for his elephants bookends for example. As far as I know this sculpture I propose here have never been auctioned anywhere in the world.
