This elegant jewelry casket bears witness to the refinement and eclecticism of Émile-Auguste Reiber in collaboration with Christofle. As head of the design and composition studio for the renowned silversmith in the 1870s, Reiber was a key figure in introducing Japonisme to the French decorative arts, subtly blending Oriental influences with European tradition.
