Unique and tremendous wrought iron hall tree.
Typical work of Edgar Brandt first period (1920-1923) with iconic ginco biloba leaves. Post Art Nouveau / Pre art deco style. (After 1923 E. Brandt started to work on more geometrical patterns).
No visible signature (hard job to find it on such large pieces !) but many details in the crazy iron works can bring to attribute to Edgar Brandt master.
Provenance : Estate. House in Les Vosges french area. 2 others pieces signed Brandt were in the house. (Consoles).
