Dunce's Cap bronze bookends

Very uncommon Bouret sculptor signed pair of silver plated bronze bookends.
In France the Dunce's Cap is named "donkey cap". Reason why you can see two hears on each.
There is an existing version of this sculpture on 1930's car Hood Ornament.
