Snake and Flute are bronze.
Excellent condition with an almost invisible repair on a thumb.

Bio

Maurice Guiraud Rivière was a painter, designer and sculptor who studied at the Paris École des Beaux-Arts and exhibited at the Salon de la Société des Artistes Français and the Salon des Humouristes during the 1920s and 30s. His main subjects were dancers, athletes and horses, usually in theatrical poses and captured in motion.
