Laurent Llaurensou 1899-1959

- Born in 1899 in a family pewter foundry since XVIIIth century in the south of France.
- In 1925 started to work with Jean Dunand in Paris. Stayed 2 years with the Master.
- 1928, get maried with Dunand personal assistant
- The same year started to exhibit his work in Paris in his own gallery
- Edgard Brandt gallery also sell his work
- 1930 exhibition in Buenos Aires
- 1931 exhibition in Mexico
- 1934 exhibition in New York City
- 1938 exhibition in Toronto
- 1942 stopped to work on Dinanderie

Laurent Llaurensou was one of the 3 disciples of Jean Dunand but was the one who stayed longest with the Master.
Known for his geometrical patterns and exceptional patinas. One of the best Dinandier of the 1930's.
