Born 13 April 1894 in Alès Gard, France; 1908, begins to paint; 1909, Decorative Arts of Paris; 1914, mobilized, his lieutenant, Dunoyer de Segonzac *, sent him to the camouflage section *; 1920, moved to Montmartre *; 1926-1927, villa Abd-el-Tif *, Algiers; 1943, his workshop is plundered, while he lives in La Gaude; His health altering, he ceased to paint; 1964, died on 20 August in Vence.

Presentation: It brings together all the talents of its time. Landscape painter in 1913, portraitist fawn in 1919, Cezanne landscape painter in 1923 and more blurred in La Marquet, Courtyard of Villa Abd-el-Tif (1927) and until 1942, portraitist realistic in 1924, painter of Nudes with the art deco modeling in 1925 or 1928. His know-how allows him to bring a sort of perfection to each of his works.
