Emile Gos (1888-1969) Swiss. studied with Rodolphe Schlemmer in Montreux. He then worked in German-speaking Switzerland, in Paris, Munich and London, before opening his first studio in Lausanne in 1914. In 1929, he moved to rue du Petit-Chêne, where he developed his business until 1965. Emile Gos specializes in landscape photography, especially mountain photography, which he is passionate about. Portrait, theater and dance are also his favorite subjects. He also carries out numerous reports for various newspapers, including La Patrie suisse and L'Illustré.
