Tambourine Dancer art deco sculpture probably Bouraine
Art Deco dancing woman with tambourines.
Green patinated metal on black marble base.
In the style of Bouraine for Max Le Verrier.
Circa 1930.
Excellent condition.
Height : 35cm
This piece shows all the typical features of Max Le Verrier’s production: green patina, black square base, and dynamic Art Deco lines. Though unsigned, the style clearly recalls the work of Bouraine, who used the pseudonyms “Derenne” and “Briand” while working for Le Verrier. A non-reissued model, it is most likely an original edition from the 1930s.
