A Large Patinated Bronze figure, circa 1925
modeled as a nude female in gilt Egyptian head dress, standing on an onix vase, posed lent forwards with arms outstretched balancing two balls on the back of her wrists. Black marble base.
Signed to the base 'C.J.R. Colinet'.
Excellent condition.
48cm high.
This sculpture is rare. I just found a similar one auctioned at Bonhams in 2011 for more than 5000eur. As always with colinet, wonderful foundry quality and precise chasing.
