A tall and exquisite bronze art deco dancer.
Stunning quality of carving, chasing and patina.
Impressive 51.5cm high.
Marble base.

French. Circa 1930.

Lucien Alliot studied under Louis-Ernest Barrias and Jules Félix Coutan. He became a regular exhibitor at the Salon des Artistes Français, obtaining the gold medal in 1920. Alliot is best known for his figurative works which range from allegorical to religious in subject-matter.
