    born in Yzeure (France) on October 19 , 1896 and died in Paris on June 14 , 1982 , is a French painter and illustrator.
    Member of the Society of French artists , he exhibited at the Salon of French artists in 1929 a Nude (painting) and a drawing Hotel rue Juiverie, Lyon . In 1931, he participated in the Salon d’automne by exhibiting two decorative panels called Summer and two Bar paintings on the port of Calvi and Place de l’Église in Menton .

    Professor (1937) then Divisional Inspector of Drawing in the schools of Paris, he is also known for illustrations in the Father Castor series .
