Marcel-Louis Baugniet , born in Liège ( Belgium ) on18 mars 1896 and died in Brussels on 1 février 1995, is a Belgian avant-garde artist considered one of the most important in the country.
In addition to his activity as a painter , he produces collages, decorations, posters, tapestries, advertising illustrations, ceramics and is a furniture designer. He is also an art critic .
