A "speedhead" mascot by Auscher, FRENCH, 1930S,

French automobile mascot stylized Indian Head by AUSCHER, France. The screaming figure ornament, mouth open and hair swept back, is a great depiction of speed! This mascot is pictured in two well known references books: “Motoring Mascots of the World” by William C. Williams, and “Mascottes Automobiles” by Michel LeGrand.

Mounted on a marble base.
15.5cm x 7,5cm x 9.5cm.
Excellent condition with normal wear (few scratches) for a Car Mascot that was obviously mounted on a car.
