A charming bronze sculpture depicting two fauns. The first is atop an antique column, pouring wine into the mouth of the second, who is stretched out at the base of the column. A charming Bacchic scene inspired by Diaghilev's Neoclassical ballets, the drawings of Bakst, or even the music of Debussy.
Signed to the bronze and inscribed Etling.
Excellent condition. Marble base.
