'Clarté' a Life-sized Patinated bronze Figural Lamp.
The female nude with stylized hair, balanced with arched back, her arms outstretched supporting a frosted glass spherical shade, standing on a domed base, in dark brown patina
166cm high, signed in cast 'M. Le Verrier'.
The 'Clarté' sculpture was originally conceived by Le Verrier in 1928, the maquette carved in his studio from three live models. One model was used for the head, one for the upper body and one for the legs and lower body.
