Jean Verschneider (French, 1872 - 1943) was a well known versatile French artist and bronze sculptor who also worked as a metal artist creating a collection of decorative lacquered metal vases. He also created statues for Goldscheider and car mascots, including a famous car mascot called "the kid" which depicted Jackie Coogan from the movie of the same name.
