Lucien Alliot studied under Louis-Ernest Barrias and Jules Félix Coutan. He became a regular exhibitor at the Salon des Artistes Français, obtaining the gold medal in 1920. Alliot is best known for his figurative works which range from allegorical to religious in subject-matter.
