Rare french art deco illuminated glass terrestrial globe.
Nickel plated brass fixture. (in excellent condition. Stains on my pictures are just due to the lights).
Wood base.
Circa 1920-1930
38cm high. 30cm width.
Note. Most often, this type of globe is in very poor condition with significant losses of pasted paper and general discoloration. This particular example is in excellent condition. The paper is solid and well-adhered. There is some minor discoloration, concentrated mainly on the area south of Alaska. A very fresh example. Rare.
