Impressive size 76cm (30") width. 50cm (20") high .
Marble and onyx base. Signed by french sculptor Carvin.
Excellent condition.
Louis Albert Carvin (1860-1951), Ecole des Beaux Arts PAris. Pupil of Emmanuel Fremiet and Georges Gardet.
Member of French Artists Society. Exhibition Salon des Artistes Français from end of XIX to 1933. Mention in 1894.
Did "La Muse de l'Aviation" bronze trophy offered in 1909 for Wright brothers. (Still in their familly house Hawthorne Hill / Dayton).
Specialised in animals sculptures.
