Art deco Max Le Verrier / Artus pelican center piece

A French Art Deco Patinated Metal Figural Pelican center piecce From The Max Le Verrier Studio.
Circa 1930, Signed Artus.
Dish has three small pelicans surrounding it, with each holding the dish in their beaks. The three pelicans measure approximately 4 inches tall (10cm), 4 inches long (10cm) and 2 inches wide (5cm). Total width is 13". (33cm)
Each of the Pelicans is signed "Artus" on one side of the base. Artus was a pseudonym often used by Le Verrier on many of his earlier works.

Cosmetically in excellent condition, the pelicans beaks have been re-fixed to the dish with screws that I am not sure to be original. (I think that they were welded. Not screwed. This seems to be an old repair). When the center piece is in place this is not visible at all.
