Art deco painting Paris Street
Stunning and large art deco painting of a Paris view. Oil on canvas.
It is "Notre Dame de Paris" church view from "Place Saint Michel". (please see postcard of the same view).
40.5" x 31" (103cm x 79cm) with frame. 32" x 23.5" (81.5cm x 60cm) without frame.
Signature hard to read.
Hard to estimate how old it is with precision but very probably 1930 - 1950.
This is also opinion of my restorer (the painting was very dirty) who cleaned the oil.
Materials (linen, canvas wood structure) and paint cracks are typically pre 1960.
Excellent condition; Cleaned; Linen tighten up on its wood frame.
