Descomps nude bronze

Very nice 1930 genuine art deco bronze. Nude by famous french sculptor Joe Descomps. Please see Catley book p138. Silver plated bronze. Portor marble basis. 22.5cm high. (8.9")

Joe Descomps
Clermont-Ferrand 1869/1950. He studied under H. Hiolin. Exhibits at the Salon des Artistes Francais Société and became a member in 1893. Honorable mention in the Exhibition Hall in 1898. Third-class medal of the Exhibition the exhibition in 1900. He worked for Edmond Etling.
