Stunning 33" - 85cm art deco period sculpture by Georges Gori. Circa 1930. Metal and Ivoreen. Onyx and marble basis. One of the last period large chryselephantine sculpture affordable. Excellent condition. Signed on basis. (In November 2010 in Paris, the more common but also very nice "Guardians" at auction in Paris reached 3500euros. The prices of these large sculptures are now rising more and more as they are becoming very hard to find in good condition).
