Pupil of Jean-Léon Gérôme and Ferdinand Humbert, member of the Salon d'Automne, he exhibited there in 1928 the paintings "Flowers and Books" (still life) and Reclining Woman.
We owe him, among other things, the illustrations of Un cœur Vierge by Eugène Montfort (1926).
He became known in 1905 by exhibiting in Paris with Henry Ottmann, Albert Marquet, Suzanne Valadon and Maurice Utrillo.
