Art deco silver plated bronze beaver paperweight

Funny art deco style silver plated bronze beaver.
Displayed (but not attached) on a marble base.
Even if the sculpture is bronze, it seems that lead was poured inside to get the right weight for a paperweight.
Circa 1930. Probably french. Excellent condition.
