Roger Cogneville (1903-1965) was a French sculptor trained at the École Boulle in Paris, active in the Parisian region. He collaborated with several artists and publishers, including René Goro and André Hunebelle, to create glassworks in the Art Deco style. Notable among his creations are satin glass vases with black patina, produced between 1927 and 1931.

René Goro was an art glassmaker and publisher active in the 1930s in Paris, at 127 rue de Turenne. He collaborated with artists such as Roger Cogneville, Henri Dieupart, Paul Dardé, Georges Chevalier, Georges Chauvel, Léon Droucker, and Roger de Villiers to produce pressed molded glass pieces in the Art Deco style.

Together, Goro and Cogneville created remarkable pieces, such as glass statuettes representing weasels.
