Rare Moser Egyptian Revival vase iridescent
A very rare Moser Egyptian Revival vase.
Iridescent glass. Enamelled pattern.
Numbered underneath 3825/ II and B 08?? (hard to read. Hand inscribed. Enamel)

Glass is perfect condition. Few normal wear and scratching on enamel. Overall excellent condition.
This vase is one of a small series of pieces made by Moser around 1895 or 1896 in matt iridescent glass decorated with ancient Egyptian styled motifs and inspired by ancient models. A couple of years later, another small series of Islamic inspired pieces was done. These are very hard to find and are usually misidentified as products of Fritz Heckert or Loetz, firms that were doing similar things at the time.
