Circa 1928. Please see in my pictures a 1928 french Paris newspaper recording a Zelikson exhibition with this sculpture "Bateliers de la Volga".
Serge Zelikson (1890-1966)French-Russian school. Born in Polotsk (Russia) in 1890 becames french in 1920. He obtained a scholarship in 1912 for travelling to Paris and studies in Ecole des Beaux Arts with Injalbert, Landdowsky et Bouchard. He exhibited in Artistes Independants fair, the autumn fair and in Lille Bordeaux Nice and Lyon towns. It is displayed in Paris and Honfleur museum.
