Voisin car hood ornament

Strong modernist design hood ornament for Voisin Car.
Aluminum. Excellent condition.
Mounted on a nice marble base.


In "Mascottes Automobiles" Legrand book page 254 you can see the very similar "cocotte" that orned the C3 and C8 in 1936.
Many versions of this hood ornament existed from 1923 to 1936. (More or less thick aluminum, shape of wings)
Aluminum metal (very avant gardist metal is the 30's) was chosen to remind that Voisin cars were very light cars.
